More remake than sequel to Fist of Fury, the physically god-like Donnie Yen's tribute to his hero Bruce Lee lacks the breeziness of pace and is over-complicated for it's own good. And the action - when it comes - is far too short and sharp for a true Lee tribute.
Only in the last moments do we see a glimpse of what could have been, when Yen pays homage to the great one-vs-many kung fu smackdowns and obligatory duel, but it's not enough to save the rest of the film from the slow moments and plodding plot.
