There are some aspects to admire with the latest effort of bringing the criminal lives of the infamous Kray twins to the silver screen, especially Tom Hardy's dual craftsmanship of the siblings. But performances alone are not enough to elevate its overly-glossed and derivative approach to higher levels artistry.
