Review of Legend (2015) by Dan B — 24 Apr 2016
Tom Hardy puts in a good turn as both Reggie and Ronnie Kray but there is little else of note in this gangster flick. Structurally it is all over the place and tonally it feels misjudged; it plays like 'Bugsy Malone' at times and considering the stuff The Krays pulled, a grittier style would have been more fitting.
Some attempt at depth would have been nice too.
