Review of Legend (1985) by Dan D — 24 Jan 2012
Despite the best of intentions, Ridley Scott's take on fairytale filmmaking is too derivitive, absent-mindedly silly, poorly written, and full of mostly uninteresting characters to rank anywhere above avergae.
It does, however, offer some spectacular visuals set to a smooth pace and ripened with some appropriate performances (Tim Curry in particular).
