Review of Legend (1985) by Nick M — 13 Oct 2012

I've been told that I need to see the Director's Cut of this movie, and perhaps that is true. What I have seen of this movie is a mess... on the one hand, there is a decent amount of production value to be had, the effects are pretty good for their time, the creatures look pretty good, some of the acting isn't bad, but the rock music, the absolutely muddled and difficult to follow story, and the bizarre, sometimes unnecessary scenes just tend to stifle much of what's happening rather than help it.

There's a good movie in here somewhere, it just is kinda like a really nice steak, some fat has to be cut off of it in order to be thoroughly good.
