Review of Legend (1985) by Stefan G — 09 Jul 2013
Legend is a fine example of the kind of fantasy movie Hollywood won't make anymore. The plot and style of the movie is derived from old fairy tales as they were before they were sanitized by America, and I have to say, it works.
The visuals are really good, and the characters are good too. But in terms of acting, the Lord of Darkness steals the show. Overall, Legend is an ambitious movie that, sadly, none of today's fantasy movies look up to.
