It is a beautiful looking movie. I have only watched the theatrical version so far and I will change my mind if the director's cut is better. Don't go into this movie thinking this is a tom cruise movie because it is not that at all.
This is a ridley scott movie and he is the only one who should get credit for this movie even existing.
