Compared to the many other films of the 80s and 70s, Legend is a rare feat considering it's beautiful cinematography that has surpassed the hurdles of time, it's visual effects and real sets. Our massive action flicks will look stupid 20 years or so in future because they are not taken in real sets and are mostly made using green screens. However, Legend's real sets make it almost everlasting. The film is sufficiently dark, but slightly low in plot. The fabulous performances from Tim Curry, Tom Cruise, David Bennent and Mia Sara make the film an even better watch.
