Review of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003) by Wendy S — 15 Feb 2009
Similar story line to the first one, with some great twists. Can't wait for the third! Gives focus to a character who maintains a good-hearted approach in attaining seemingly unattainable goals, overcoming skepticism/ scrutiny (namely with the 'snap cup' as a form of conflict-resolution), and still coming out on top.
We need more leadership roles like this... classic tales of breaking the mould and going for what is right. As movie-clipped (during split scene of phone conversation), I've only recently viewed "Mr.
Smith Goes to Washington". Definately see this for an uncanny parallel to the one honest person vs. the mob of "it's just a job" lemmings, only with Jimmy Stewart as the newbie! This story re-invented with Reece Witherspoon, gives tribute and new dimension to that classic film.
