Review of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003) by Moni K — 19 Jun 2012
I don't remember much from the first part that I've seen years ago. This part, however, is worth to watch. Yes, it's silly and ridiculous sometimes but what I like the most is that this character Elle is chasing her dreams and stands for what she believes.
She graduated from Harvard and became a laywer then got married and fought for justice. She didn't give up and she worked hard. And she did that all against almost everyone around her, who thought she's being just ridiculous and not serious.
I understand that what can be annoying it's all the silly plots. But this is just the style for this movie that I can overlook and focus on the true, beautiful meaning. Plus, it's very easy to watch and it's entertaining.
It's not boring like many melodramatic and existential movies out there that try to be good but fails miserably. I like this movie a lot.
