It seems to me that the negative reviews this movie is getting is mostly concerning the subject matter and not the overall quality of the movie. I saw it in an almost full theater and the audience was cheering and clapping at the end. Different strokes for different folks.
The movie was obviously not on a big budget and had some of the cliche "action movie" stunts in it, but overall the movie was very good. If you are down on Christianity, you will most likely rate this movie low. If you love Jesus, you will most likely like it.
Don't expect a triple A movie experience. It's more of a made for TV type quality. If you are open to the subject matter, it will be an enjoyable experience though.
