I saw it. Thought Left Behind a good thriller. It was not great but it was good...and interesting.
It all starts when Capt Ray Steele (Nicholas Cage) leaves home and a family part behind...in order to pilot a commercial flight to London and then to start an affair with an attractive flight attendant co-worker. Young Reporter Buck Williams is "rescued" from an intense christian woman by militant atheist and college student Chloe Steele.
Soon, Capt. Steele, Hattie (his would-be girlfriend) other passengers - in an instant - literally the blink of an eye - note that NOW all the babies and some of the adults have vanished.
What happens now? Of course, chaos...as Steele cannot reach a working airport. And what of the missing people? Cage does somedetective work...asks some key questions...because his now-gone wife...knew this great vanishing would happen.
