Review of Left Behind (2014) by Paula B — 18 Oct 2014
Contrary to the prejudgements of religiously-biased critics, I found the film compelling, even though certain minor characters suffered in their efforts at authenticity and certain elements were too cheesily-staged, such as the final shot.
The important thing is that it did what films are meant to do, which is to make you care about what happens, about what unfolds for the main characters. This it does, as long as you do not approach it with pre-conceived prejudice.
