Left Behind is an amazing novel and series that many Christians are familiar with. However, this made-for-movie version POORLY did the storyline any justice! Nick Cage and his supporting counterpart fail miserably to deliver a convincing remorseful adulterer and husband, other character builds are poorly developed, and the entire movie gives the impression of being more of an anti-religious film rather than embracing and supporting the actual focus of the novel.
Many theatre-goers expecting a great spiritual movie walked out offended during the first half. Very boring, poor casting, poor delivery all the way around.
