Review of Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same (1976) by Evan S — 15 Mar 2009

I like how the plot synopsis for this film says that it is "enhanced" by the band member's personal fantasies. EL OH EL. Au contraire derrier! The film is almost ruined by these self-indulgent bizarro world nonsensical short segments which make zeeeeero sense.

The concert footage is pretty good, even with the cheeseball 70's effects they use on the footage. Basically, a good film when you see the concert footage and awesome Led Zeppelin music, but absolutely terrible when it strays from anything outside the arena.
