Yet another of those "gritty life in the shadows on the fringes of society" films. Dark, seedy but at the same time thought provoking of the lives of others. Abuse, Acoholism, Suicide, Depression, and overall terrible lives led.
Cage's best performance, as well as Shue's. One of the darkest films ever.
