This will be forever known as nic cages greatest performance and it truely is a beautiful film. nic cage plays a man who has drunk his family and his career away so he heads to vegas to end it all but finds a weird love in a form of elisabeth shues prostitute.
it is a dark drama rather downbeat but as a nic cage fan its a pleasure to watch and he thoroughly deserves his oscar. highly recommended.
