2 desperate people, one love between a drunkard and a prostitute... why we have to clear the reason if they are such despairing like what is showed in the movie? The filmmakers just want to tell us they.
...are.... indeed very hopeless, they are both, that's why Sera and Ben choose each other in the end..... Despair, I know it very well...
