Review of Leaves of Grass (2009) by Lucas Y — 28 Feb 2011
Tim Blake Nelson presents some original ideas, but the amateurish style in which they're approached is beyond distracting. Sadly, everything about this felt like a B-movie, even Ed Norton. His love story with Keri Russell is dangerously cheesy.
I gave this a chance up until the violence started erupting left & right. It destroyed the tone of this. I was incredibly let down by 'Leaves of Grass'. And will somebody give Richard Dreyfuss some REAL work again, please??
