Review of Leave Her to Heaven (1945) by Hannah D — 28 Jun 2010
This is a bit of a slow-burner but the second half of the film had me gripped. I can't believe Ellen let Richard's brother Danny drown! And then she threw herself down the stairs deliberately so that her unborn child would die.
It's certainly not a feel-good film even if the sumptious scenary would have you believe otherwise.
