This Woman,New Bride, Ellen, is so Possessive(Gene Tierney) that she will kill anyone who her Husband(Cornel Wilde) shows attention too, which includes his crippled little brother(Darryl Hickman), & her own Unborn Child.

Clearly a Psycho, she frames another Woman for her own Suicide when she is found out by her Husband & this Family Friend, Ruth(Jeanne Crain).Vincent Price is the Prosecuting Attorney, & the Ex Love of the late Ellen(Tierney).

Gene Tierney is exquisitely Beautiful in this film, & sure doesn't look the part of a woman so insecure that she is threatened about sharing any attention's of her husband. She gives a chillingly wonderful performance.
