Review of Leatherheads (2008) by Bob S — 01 Sep 2009
This is a unique film (one could argue is a romantic comedy) about a veteran football player falling for an equally determined dame and (very) loosely about the origins of American pro football. All in all, itâ??s an average movie, but one that pleasantly surpassed my expectations.
Clooney and Zellweger had great chemistry and had a few enjoyable dialogues. I didnâ??t even mind some peculiar moments of slapstick. The filmâ??s love triangle is oddly reminiscent of Bull Durham.
