Review of Leatherheads (2008) by Michael H — 16 May 2010
Gentle, warm and sepia-tinted screwball comedy. Clooney reprises some of his O Brother comedy tricks and I totally bought the anti-corporate subtext. Kinda like how I felt when rugby league turned into a summer sport to attract Murdoch's millions.
Shame Zelwegger sucked ass (not literally, sadly). And extra marks for including the lead singer from Blanche as a hotel receptionist.
