Heard good things watching it tonight and in reply to kitkatrox689 the films are based on Ed Gean the texas killer who kept his victims corpses in his basement his mother was in on this as well.
His killing spree was the key inspiration for Psycho and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Its quite obvious how much it influenced Psycho because of the mother and son relations.
