Review of Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990) by Kyle L — 19 Feb 2011
As the sequels of the texas chainsaw massacre gets worse. The third film in the series was much worse than the second texas chainsaw massacre. This one is probably a bad sequel to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
I usually didn't like all of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequels for some reason. They all sucked and this one was much worse than part 2. Usually after the first film the sequels seriously went down the hill after the first film.
Part 3 was just plain dumb and it was really annoying as well. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 is a reboot sequel to the first film because in the second film the entire family including leatherface dies so the film makers decided to reboot the sequel.
The third Texas Chainsaw Massacre has some good moments but falls short instantly. The third film has some good moments in which there are some good graphic gore scenes but lacking of scares and has a lot of bad acting.
The whole dialogue of the film was just dumb and the whole movie is really disappointing. I really didn't like the sequels for some reason The next generation is probably the worse to all the sequels of the first film.
Usually Ken Foree did a good job but the rest sucked for one reason. I instantly hated this sequel and I was extremely disappointed with the entire film. I would give this film a 2/10 because the whole movie has good moments but falls short and fails to become a succesful horror film.
