Worth it just to see Ken Foree cuss out and shoot up the Sawyer family. That, and the heroine who becomes REALLY badass REALLY fast. Drop of the hat is an apt description.
Too bad it makes absolutely no sense within the context of the Chainsaw franchise... it's a reboot for all intents and purposes but they mention the events of the first film in a text crawl at the beginning! I just don't understand!
