Review of Leap Year (2010) by Kristin B — 04 Apr 2018

I wanted to like this movie, and while it is a fluffy enough watch to hold your interest, it ultimately is too flat and shallow to be a rom com classic. While Amy Adams is great in many serious films, her uptight character is unable to show the level of warmth required to make us care about her (and not think shes totally insane for flying to Ireland to propose to her stick in the mud boyfriend).

The chemistry is never there between to two leads to believe she would leave her cardiologist boyfriend for this poor irishman she hardly knows, as cute as he is.
