Review of Leap Year (2010) by Ryan R — 06 Mar 2012
Amy Adams continues her climb to the very top of the tree. Apart from the stereotyped Irish charm this light-hearted comedy engages and amuses in equal quantity. Matthew Goode contributes equally to Adams and the on screen chemistry paves over some cracks. A little predictable in parts but just when it seems to fall into a lull a small piece of humour picks it up.
Both Adams and Goode prove an ability to fulfil a role as a lead and have real screen presence which carry the movie to it's somewhat predictable but inevitable conclusion.
