Such a weird but ok kids movie...Not sure if it's because it's a French Canadian film or what but the timing of this entire movie was so awkward and weirdly paced. It also seemed that there was no attempt to convert the jokes and humor to something more appealing and translatable to English-speaking/American audiences.

The music was great, but did not match the movie at all and made it so awkward to watch. The voices don't match up to the characters at all and it was kind of painful. I will say, this is by far NOT the worst movie for kids this year.

There were so many horrible kids movies this year and at least this is visually appealing and it does have some redeeming qualities. With all this, kids won't notice all the shortcomings and mine really liked it.

Glad we waited to rent it.
