Review of Le Samouraï (1967) by Cody B — 19 Aug 2007
Masterful film from French director Jean-Pierre Melville. A film which has become the blueprint for many mob/hitman oriented films over the years. The main character Jef Costello (brilliantly portrayed by Alain Delon) remains one of the most complex and layered characters ever put to screen.
I recommened that anyone who even seldom enjoyed Leon the Professional should see this immediately.
