"Le Samourai" has one of the coldest 'feels' to a movie I've ever seen. Stark and unsympathetic the film follows Delon's character soullessly ply his trade. Even his pet bird turns out to be as expendable as a coal mine canary being nothing more than a type of security system.
Now that's cold.
