A first rate thriller about a hit man and the consequences of his latest assignment. Holds your from the opening moments until the final scene, with Alain Delon giving a note perfect performance as the emotionless Jef Costello.
He really is a samurai mixed with the gangster genre, and the result is a sublime piece of filmmaking.
