Review of Le Samouraï (1967) by Alexander C — 19 Nov 2012
Considering how many masterpieces Melville made, it says a lot how much influence Le Samourai still carries- and how it might be his best of his great films- by accomplishing everything it sets out to do.
it's cool, sleek, unforgiving, and so bad-ass it still probably makes Tarantino cry for his mommy, waaa, waaa!!
