Review of Le Samouraï (1967) by Ted A — 08 Nov 2008
Very sleek portrayal by Alain Delon. Jean-Pierre Melville made a near to perfection pace throughout. The action is taut, the set pieces are chrome-like deadly. This film goes beyond the boundaries of movie-making, artsy, and still invigorating to watch.
Of course, Alain Delon's in control. And Melville is quite great at directing. Well, who the hell am i? I just love to watch movies.
