Review of Le Samouraï (1967) by Paul Of The Future — 23 Apr 2008
This is one of my all time favorite movies. A landmark study of character and action. Ultimately, the setting up for the alibi is one of the most tense examples of a line up in movies, the scene in the night club is one of the best shootings I've ever seen.
That being said, it is a cold movie, but that isn't a bad thing given the content.
