Review of Le Doulos (1962) by Ben K — 28 Jul 2007
It feels like Soderbergh took a lot of his inspiration for the Oceans' movies, Out of sight, and the limey from Melville. Le Doulos is confusing but so is life and imagine how the characters must feel.
Of course Melville was not into exploitation in that he was probably as much a moralist as Bunuel was.
