Review of Le Doulos (1962) by Calvin L — 07 Sep 2008
A fantastic film where plotting works heavily to display some really fascinating themes on loyalty and ambiguity. I found that the careful plotting and structure and yet the obscurity, this French-like element that brought a beauty to a genre rooted in America.
Also, I must agree, the car crash from a hill with the body jumping up, that was magnificent.
