Review of Le Divorce (2003) by Sarah C — 26 Sep 2008
I have a tendency to rent mediocre movies with Netflix. For example, in the past year I rented A View From the Top, LXG, Tears of the Sun, Final Destination 2, and more .. all from Netflix. Of course I expected them to all be horrible, and they all were, but I guess sometimes my need for escapism supersedes my film tastes..

Johnny English 3/10.
This did have a few laughs, and I guess that made it worth seeing (okay, maybe not). I just have a soft spot for spy spoofs. This probably ranks as the worst I've seen, and really made me question John Malkovich's judgement. .

Le Divorce 2/10.
This could have been a lot better. I think the premise was interesting enough, but it was executed horribly. I actually fell asleep during this film, and as some of you know that I can be fairly disciplined when watching film..

Freaky Friday 6/10.
Believe it or not, I have seen the original. It was a long time ago, so don't ask me if I liked it. I do remember it, so after hearing some positive reviews about the remake, my interest was piqued. I did enjoy it. Sure, it was formulaic, bland, and about as unoriginal as you can get, but it was fun. Jamie Lee Curtis was terrific..
