The connections of the characters make the first hour the most interesting part, but the heist sequence that follows is also pretty awesome. Long stretches of no dialogue can be boring but not with the tension that racks up in this film.
Jean-Pierre Melville makes pretty awesome movies, I'm gonna have to see more of them.
