Perhaps my favorite Melville flick. Le Cercle Rouge just flows from one scene of cinematic perfection to the next, and it's climactic heist sequence honestly gives Rififi's a run for it's money.
If you can look past the extreme coincidence (a thematic necessity) than you'll be declaring this a true masterpiece as well.
