Critics keep on complaining that LBJ's negative side is presented much in this movie. Hello! There are dozes of films concentrating on LBJ's Vietnam debacle and his other personal foibles. What's not covered much is his huge role in getting Civil Rights passed in the US.
Very few people know this about LBJ. His future mistakes at Vietnam has totally obliterated much of his prior accomplishments. Rob Reiner thus provides a fresh look at an aspect of LBJ that no one has yet successfully expounded on.
