Review of LBJ (2017) by John M — 20 Mar 2018
You really want to find the redeeming factors here, like perhaps an outstanding performance from Harrelson or an examination on the conflicting battles of LBJ, but it's all just muddled out by tropey and bland pacing, scripting and directing.
It's as if you took a Spielberg film and stripped away its more interesting character moments, leaving the sappy and forced melodrama to try to convince you of its greatness.
