Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Steve G — 23 Nov 2009
Can't say how much I love this film, from Crag's voice over intro, great plot twists and turns, colorful characters and dialog, I think this might be one of the best British gangster films ever.
Craig plays it cool all the way through, cooler even than his turn as Bond as events conspire against him. Matthew Vaughn keeps every scene riveting and some great camera work thrown in. Did I mention a killer soundtrack? A must see.
