Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Numna S — 04 Feb 2010
I feel that this is a better film than Matthew Vaughn's produced Guy Ritchie outings. There is just a more interesting story at the heart of everything and it's incredibly darker and fearless than Ritchie's work.
It doesn't feel like a Tarantino film like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels did and it also isn't as much of a comedy like Snatch was. I also give some of the credit to the film to Daniel Craig, who's performance will blow you away.
