Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Ivo N — 21 Mar 2010

So I got a little confused through this film. I can't necessarily fault it, but my mind kept wandering, perhaps due to its oddly boring story. There was action, but it didn't grab your attention too much, and with half the characters being very hard for me to understand, I just couldn't pull the happenings together.

There was, too, a shameless reference to the film's title, something which should never be done. Worth a watch based on what little of the story that was intelligible and the fair amount of action.
