Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Nelson P — 21 Jun 2010
Every time I watch Layer Cake it gets better. From start to finish it keeps you involved in the ever shifting and deepening plot. Daniel Craig manages to pull off a character that has the furry and rage of Tony Montana and the suaveness and charm of James Bond.
Matthew Vaughn clearly knows the strengths and weaknesses of a "Guy Ritchie" type of movie and is able the create a movie that blows any new drug movie out of the water.
