Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Ed F — 02 Oct 2010
I'm sure there is a good film in here somewhere, but I just thought the overly-stylised mode of filmmaking by Matthew Vaughn overshadowed the slightly tedious narrative. The dialogue was also rather bad, made worse by an excessive use of swearing made unbearable by a bland cast, Daniel Craig was also quite wooden throughout.
