Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Angel J — 24 Nov 2010
This piece of work is a very smart, casual, and witty crime thriller of drugs, revenge, betrayal, and sex. This film has everything you need and could ever want from a crime drama with the addition to great acting.
No better setting then the crime infested country of England. All the actors were believable and Matthew Vaughn delivered a great directorial performance. Daniel Craig is brilliant and no wonder why he was chosen to be James Bond, was is shown clearly in this film.
Hilarious gangsters and cruel Russian killers. Just a good crime drama, simple as that.
