Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Lachlan D — 03 Nov 2013
Matthew Vaughn makes a great directorial debut in layer cake, which injects some much needed life into the Guy Ritchie inspired Brit-Gangster genre. The slick and engaging direction combined with a complex narrative ensures that this film provides the necessary thrills and even some laughs.
I can see why Daniel Craig was a shoe in for the next Bond role.
