Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Jimmy R — 25 Dec 2013
A great British gangster thriller film that reminded me of Goodfellas a little bit. Layer Cake is a film filled with great actors that perform very well. Daniel Craig reminded me a lot of James Bond in the film, which was funny to me because he later got to play Bond in Casino Royale.
The storyline is great and the title in my opinion is very creative. (thanks to J.J. Connolly who wrote the novel and screenplay for the film).
